Martial Arts summer camp, as a bridge between tradition and modernity, East and West, aims to let participants appreciate the profoundness of Chinese martial arts through systematic and professional training, and at the same time cultivate their perseverance, agility and flexibility, as well as the moral values of respect for teachers and unity and mutual help. In this special season, sweat and laughter are intertwined, challenges and growth go hand in hand, and every participant will leave unforgettable footprints here.

Shaolin Temple martial arts training camp, adhering to the principle of “meeting friends with martial arts, convincing people with virtue”, is committed to the inheritance and promotion of Chinese martial arts culture. Through systematic teaching and training, we not only teach students boxing, kicking, weapons and other combat skills, but also focus on cultivating students’ self-discipline, self-confidence, teamwork, and the courage and persistence in the face of challenges.

The prices including all training classes, the use of training equipment, free WLAN (or WIFI), full board with 3 meals a day and Hotel-style shared double room, the optional class Mandarin.

Below is a detailed description of what you can expect to train at a martial arts summer camp:
1. Basic Physical Training
Morning Running and Endurance Training
: Aerobic running every morning to enhance cardiorespiratory function and endurance.
Strength training: including push-ups, squats, pull-ups, etc. to enhance muscle strength and explosive power.
Flexibility Training: Improve flexibility and mobility of the body through stretching and yoga poses.
2. Basic Martial Arts
Horse Stance Training: practicing low and high horse stance to enhance leg strength and stability.
Basics of Boxing: Learn basic boxing movements such as straight punch, hook punch and swing punch.
Kick Training: Practice basic kicks, such as front kick, side kick, leg sweep, spinning leg, etc.
Footwork Movement: learn footwork such as forward, backward, and dodging to improve movement speed and reaction ability.
3. Martial Arts Routine Learning
Long Fist Routine: Learn the routines of traditional Chinese Long Fist, exercise body coordination and sense of rhythm.
Taijiquan Routine: Learn the basic movements and routines of Taijiquan, and experience the martial arts concept of internal and external unity.
Equipment Routines: Includes the study of traditional equipment such as swords, sticks, guns and whips.
4. Practical Combat Skills Training
Sparring Strikes: Learn the basic skills of sparring strikes and conduct simulated combat training.
Takedown and Counter-Takedown: Teach the techniques of takedown and release methods to improve self-defense ability.
Reaction Speed Training: Improve quick reaction ability through various reaction training games.
5. Traditional Culture Learning
Chinese Classics: Learn the Chinese classics such as “Disciple’s Rules” and “The Analects of Confucius” to understand traditional culture.
Martial Arts Etiquette: Learn the etiquette norms in martial arts, such as the clasping fist salute and bowing salute.
History of Wushu: To understand the history of the development of Chinese Wushu and the characteristics of each school.
