  • Shaolin Kung Fu, originating from the Shaolin Temple in Songshan, one of the most famous Buddhist Zen mountains in China, has a long history. Shaolin Kung Fu focuses on combat techniques, body skills, qigong and internal kung fu, emphasizing both internal and external training, and giving equal importance to form and meaning. Its movements are powerful, swift and fast, as smooth as flowing water. Shaolin Kung Fu is not only a kind of martial art skill, but also a way to cultivate oneself, emphasizing the perfect combination of meditation and martial art.
  • In terms of technical characteristics, Shaolin Kung Fu is mainly rigid, focusing on the combination of strength and speed. Its strokes are often direct, swift, and emphasize the importance of hitting the target with a single blow, which makes it highly combat-oriented. Shaolin Wushu’s “Shaolin Long Fist” and “Shaolin Stick Technique” all reflect this characteristic. At the same time, Shaolin Wushu also focuses on internal training, through standing stakes, meditation, etc., to enhance the body’s internal strength and endurance, to achieve “external training of the muscles and bones of the skin, the internal training of a breath of realm”!
  • The philosophical thinking of Shaolin Wushu is deeply influenced by Zen Buddhism, which emphasizes the “unity of Zen and martial arts”. In the process of practicing, the monks not only seek to improve their martial arts skills, but also pay more attention to the cultivation of the mind. Through the practice of martial arts, they achieve peace of mind and wisdom. The philosophical thinking of Shaolin Kungfu is also reflected in its “martial virtue” education, which emphasizes the traditional virtues of respecting teachers, being righteous and courageous, and convincing others by virtue
  • Tai Chi Kung Fu focuses more on the concept of “softness overcoming hardness”. Tai Chi Kung Fu movements are slow and continuous, emphasizing the coordination of the body and the use of inner energy. Through slow flowing movements and deep breathing, the practitioner is able to achieve harmony and balance at both the physical and mental levels. Tai Chi is not only a martial art, but also an embodiment of philosophical thinking, pursuing the realm of the unity of heaven and man.
  • Tai Chi Kung Fu emphasizes more on the “soft” side. Its movements are slow and rounded, emphasizing the principles of softness overcoming hardness, and the four-two-thousand-kilogram technique. The Tai Chi Chuan and Tai Chi Sword in Tai Chi Kung Fu are designed to guide the flow of qi and blood through continuous movements and to enhance the coordination and flexibility of the body. At the same time, Tai Chi Kung Fu also emphasizes the guidance of the mind and the coordination of breathing, so that the practitioner can achieve a state of unity between body and mind during the exercise.
  • Tai Chi Kung Fu, on the other hand, is deeply rooted in Taoist philosophy, especially the Yin-Yang doctrine of the I Ching. It believes that everything in the universe is composed of yin and yang, which are interdependent and transformed. By simulating the laws of nature, Tai Chi Kung Fu enables the yin and yang qi in the human body to achieve a state of harmony and unity. This philosophy is not only reflected in the design of boxing movements, but also in every detail of Tai Chi Kung Fu, such as the regulation of breathing and the guidance of the mind.
  • Personal Transformation: Facilitates personal transformation through the integration of physical practice, meditation, and philosophical teachings
